PRODUCT CARE

Sterling Silver - An impregnated silver cleaning cloth is the best product to use when cleaning cufflinks and other items set with real or artificial stones, or a small amount of cleaning paste or cream applied with a soft cloth. Be careful not to dip items set with semi-precious stones in silver cleaning fluid. Soft stones and pearls can be damaged by products of this type.

Vermeil (gold-plated silver) - Please don't use silver polish or other metal polish on plated items. This type of polish is mildly abrasive and will wear away the plating. As gold doesn't tarnish, washing or wiping with water and a little washing-up liquid and then gently burnishing with a soft cloth will restore the lustre.

Glass and crystal - clean with a little water and washing up liquid or wipe over with methylated spirits.

Semi-precious stones - clean with a little water and washing up liquid, using a soft toothbrush to clean between the stone and its setting if necessary.
